## Description

The independent visitor service is for children and young people in the care of the local authority and can continue up to the age of 18 years\. \\r \\r One to one sessions with the intention that the Independent Visitor would help to provide the young person with emotional support, sound adult advice, and any help that aids their development\. The visitor is independent of the local authority and of the other people who are involved in the young person's care\.
