Work description
The London Borough of Hackney has approximately 3,000 surveillance cameras covering 8 busy retail areas, night time economy areas, residential streets, public car parks, parks and play areas. The Council also has a fleet of Mobile PSS Vehicles and relocatable cameras that utilise 4G technology.\r \r 60% of the cameras are on housing estates\r 30 ANPR cameras are on roadside sites, reading 24/7 and are connected to both a Council used NDI-RS database and the MET Police database.\r Approximately 70 cameras are on Railway Stations\r Approximately 106 internal cameras at Homerton Hospital\r \r The Council seeks to obtain the services of a supplier to provide a Monitoring Service that encompasses fully qualified Public Space Surveillance front line staff, SIA licensed PSS Operators, Team Leaders and an Operations Manager to fully manage the service.
