Automatic Enrolment: Quantitative Research with Small and Micro Employers

The main objectives for this research are: - To gather information on the appropriateness, effectiveness and success of Automatic Enrolment implementation among the diverse small and micro employer population in Great Britain - To gather data on the factors associated with higher and lower levels of opt out and cessation of saving into a pension - To quantify the scale of burden on employers, including the costs of implementation and any subsequent burdens on employees or the business - To measure employer awareness/understanding of and compliance with Automatic Enrolment processes including re-enrolment and phasing of contribution rate increases
