## Description

The project relates to a terrace of Grade II listed timber chalets \(see Appendix A for details of listing\) situated within the South Cliff Gardens, Scarborough \(close to the Spa building and adjacent to the Clock Cafe\)\. In March 2018 a retaining wall to the rear of the chalets failed which resulted in the upper section of wall collapsing and significantly damaging the beach chalets\. A Consultant is required to: • Prepare and submit a planning application to rebuild the chalets\. • Design the replacement chalets on a like-for-like basis to those that were lost and procure a Principal Contractor to undertake the works\. • Undertake the role of Principal Designer under the Construction \(Design and Management\) Regulations 2015\.
