## Description

The equipment must be appropriate for bio-science applications in the field of electron microscopy\. Features should include: - Easy and safe handling of the square as well as the finished knives\. - Mechanical construction to achieve a balanced break\. - Vibrations free casting\. - Should be delivered ready to score and break the glass for every operation without any adjustment of micrometre drivers prior to each break\. - Equipment should intrinsically allow for symmetrical breaking; this should be very precise with no backlash\. - Breaking head should be via a clamping lever with defined clamping position\. - Simplicity of score action of glass if possible, with and auto reset for the next score\. - Breaking head which applies symmetrical force to both side of the glass\. - Breaking wheel with scale\. - High precision glass strip support\. - Facility to rotate the glass square precisely to help ensure high quality knives\. - Easy access of scoring pressure adjustment\. - Fast learning curve - very easy to learn and use\. - Any system to avoid accidental misalignment is preferred\.
