Provision of Banking Services

The current five-year banking contract with Barclays Bank Plc expired at the end of March 2022. However, as the system was running smoothly and the Council was satisfied with the service it was receiving, a 12-month extension was approved by the Head of Finance and Managing Director of Volair Ltd on 7 January 2022 in line with the original tender. The cost of the contract reflects the number and nature of transactions processed and facilities used, and so varies every year.
