## Description

The General Dental Council \(GDC\) has awarded a contract for the provision of Fitness to Practice Assurance Services\. The service provision has two distinct elements: - An annual audit/review of sample of Fitness to Practice \(FtP\) cases to provide an objective assessment of the decisions made as part of the FtP processes\. - Becoming an independent member of the GDC's Quality Assurance Group \(QAG\)\. The Contract commences on 1 March 2024 for an initial period of 3 years and may be extended by up to a further 2 years, at increments to be decided by the GDC\.
