WCC - Lot 1 Call-off Housing Related Support Consultation

The call off request is to support targeted consultation outlined below.

Under the Council's Medium Term Financial Savings (MTFS) plan, the budget for HRS will be significantly reduced from 2024. The Council needs to redesign services to maximise the support that can be commissioned for the remaining budget, but a significant reduction in services will be inevitable.

WCC are proposing to redesign the service and are sharing options about how we could do things differently which includes making changes, offering some services in a different way and stopping some services. WCC will carry out public consultation on the different ways we could redesign housing related support services, so we continue to focus on those with greatest need.

WCC are required to consult Warwickshire residents about the changes and gather people's views, especially those people and organisations who are most likely to be impacted. Work has already been completed with other key stakeholders including current customers of the services to support the development of WCC's redesign ideas.
