Commercial Adviser for the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service

Gateshead Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a Commercial Adviser who can provide commercial and managerial support in delivering a high quality cost effective housing repairs and maintenance service. The Council has recently integrated its The Construction Service team with The Gateshead Housing Company (The Service) with the intention of directly delivering the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Works and Services. Details of the areas of Commercial Support will include but is not limited to: Development of commercial insight and expertise Improving repairs and maintenance through strategic asset management Developing and sustaining customer service standards and outcomes Management information, systems and procedures Performance and measurement of the housing repairs and maintenance service Workforce development Mobilisation and timing Staff and tupe Social value Sustainability Flexibility and any additional services
