Cornwall Council intents to award a contract for two enforcement agents to collect monies due in order to fulfill its statutory duty to efficiently maximise the collection and associated income of Council Tax, Business Rates, Sundry debts, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Parking Enforcement penalties\.Cornwall Council intents to award a contract for two enforcement agents between which all debts with be evenly split\.Total debts passed onto enforcement agents are estimated at £14\.33m per year split across council tax, NNDR, housing benefit over payments, sundry debts, car parking charges and rents\.
