Q075 26T Single Chamber Vehicle Procurement

The Council's Waste & Recycling Team require 8 x 26T Waste Collection Vehicles with single compartment waste collection body (including provision of spare parts), to assist in the collection of waste within the Borough of Bolton and to maintain a fleet that is efficient, reliable and safe.

In addition, the Greater Manchester Clean Air Plan (GMCAP) is being developed to bring levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) on local roads within legal limits. This is currently planned to be implemented in Spring 2022. The Council will be utilising the NEPO & TPPL Supply of HGVs Framework Agreement - NEPO224, Lot 2 (Vehicle Conversions up to 44t), which allows for a further competition process.
