Balcony Cranes

NLB have a requirement for three (3) replacement cranes for the pillar rock balconies. Three out of the four pillar rock lighthouses (Major lights) have a crane or hoist on the balcony to lift items such as personal bags and food and water supplies into the lighthouse. There are no original test certificates for these cranes and some are not constructed to a British Standard and as such under LOLER these cranes should be condemned.
