Learning Management System

Description

The requirement is for The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) to purchase a web-based learning management system to host, complete and certify statutory and mandatory training requirements. The purchase will include on-going support and maintenance. The system must allow for SCORM and AICC national eLearning packages to be accessed and completed. Uploads from ESR must be accepted into the system. Compliance reporting and notifications for training renewal must be integrated. Data security is of utmost importance and therefore tenders will only be accepted from companies signed up to the NHS Data protection toolkit. The intention is to provide access to the other Black Country NHS Trusts, via a single contract with RWT. A business case is currently in progress for this. The immediate requirement is for 20,000 licences to fulfil the requirements of RWT, but should the business case be successful, the requirement will be for 100,000 licences.
