Independent Safety Advisor (IA)

DE&S Land Equipment Soldier Training and Special Programmes has a requirement for specialist safety & environmental (S&E) support to ensure that the products, goods and services provided for its end users are fit for purpose and meet all regulatory requirements. There is a need for Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) to ensure that Safety and Environmental Protection risks are as low as reasonably possible (ALARP). The supplier will provide technical support to the three teams comprising STSP, including creating and updating S&E documentation, producing reports and presentations of findings. This contract will expire on 31st March 2018, with two one year options.
