## Description

OVERVIEW Introduction: The Sheffield College wishes to engage an appropriately qualified and experienced Contractor to provide high quality Catering Equipment Service and Repairs Works to the College\. Outline Contract Objectives:Contractors will be expected to assist the College in creating and maintaining a safe and clean environment for all students, staff, visitors and contractors, property and buildings whilst within or situated on, College premises by undertaking Catering Equipment Services and Repairs\. Contract Period: It is proposed that the Contract will be for an initial 3 year term with options to extend for a further 2 years on an annual review\. It is expected that the contract will commence at an agreed date in January 2025 Contract Price; It is expected that the price will be fixed for the initial 3 year term adjusted as per the Pricing Schedules submitted at tender\. The cost for optional extensions will be adjusted in accordance with agreed BCIS Indices with the base date being the last month of the three year initial term Tender Award Criteria: Please note that the Tender process will be undertaken in two parts which will be scored on a 60:40 \(Quality:Price\) basis Catering Equipment Services and Repairs Work Summary: The College intends to enter into a Contract for the provision of high quality Catering Equipment Service and Repairs Works to the College covering: o The Contractor shall provide the Service throughout the Contract Period to the Contract Standard and in a professional, efficient, effective and safe manner, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Employer\. o The Contractor shall provide the Service at all times in such a manner as shall promote and enhance the image and reputation of the Employer\. o The Contractor shall employ sufficient staff to ensure that the Service is provided at all times and in all respects to the Contract Standard\. The duties shall include, but not exclusively, the following: ? Programming Inspection Monitoring, Testing and Maintenance Schedules ? Annual Inspection and Servicing ? Identifying, Recording, Reporting and Repairing Defects and Remedial Schedules ?
