## Description

The DE&S Specialist EOD&S, Exploitation and Countermeasures \(SEEC\) delivery team is awarding a contract for an online catalogue of support, training, and welfare equipment for Military Working Dogs \(MWD\)\. The catalogue of products includes a diverse range of equipment, including but not limited to; dog waste bags, leads, and harnesses, through to made to measure dog handler bite suits, specialist training aids and agility equipment\. All items supplied are to be of a suitable standard and quality that enables the Authority to continue to meet the five dog welfare needs listed in the Animal Welfare Act 2006 \(lhttps://www\.legislation\.gov\.uk/ukpga/2006/45/contents\) and detailed in the DEFRA Code of Practice for the Welfare of Dogs 2017 \(https://www\.gov\.uk/government/publications/code-of-practice-for-the-welfare-of-dogs\)\. The contract is for five years with options to extend by an additional two years making the contract a maximum of seven years in duration\. The expected spend over the the full seven years is £3\.1M\.
