2-217 M25 Strategic Change & Commercial Lead

Highways England is required to set up a contract for the provision of commercial services. The Commercial Services Delivery Division, CSD within the Commercial and Procurement Directorate support Operations Directorate to achieve good business outcomes by developing cost, time and supplier intelligence and management required for effective decision making. It also protects the commercial interests of Highways England through active commercial contract, change and dispute management. The Commercial Delivery team provide contractual advice and check and challenge services to Major Projects, MP, and Operations Directorate, OD, in support of investment decision making and scheme delivery. Challenges associated with staff retention and recruitment, in this specialist area, means that Interim support is vital. This work package will be essential to assist CSD to meet the challenges of increased demand associated with the Roads Investment Strategy and in particular the management of M25 DBFO and significant change of contract management arrangements of Severn Crossings.
