WP3645a - Alternative Education Framework

The Council wishes re-open the alternative education framework to new applications for all Lots and the enclosed Supplementary Invitation to Tender (ITT) document outlines the process to be followed. This is not a new procurement process; the terms, conditions and award criteria under the current framework remain in place.

The service delivers a range of alternative approaches to providing access to education for young people who are excluded or at risk of exclusion, at risk of disengaging from mainstream school provision or otherwise require alternative education provision to meet their educational entitlement.

Additional information: Walsall Council is opening applications to the Alternative Education Framework. Service Providers will have the opportunity to submit an application to one or more Lots under the framework and be awarded a place on the framework.

This opportunity is open to new providers; providers already on the framework need not apply again but do have the opportunity to improve their price score if they wish. This project will be managed through Walsall Council's In-tend portal.
