## Description

The current seating in BFI Southbank's main auditorium, NFT1, and the venue's second auditorium, NFT2, has reached end-of-life and requires replacing\. Specification for NFT1 and NFT2\. NFT1 o Supply of 464 tip-up style cushioned cinema seats with cup holders arranged in staggered formation o Ten additional seat backs, armrests and seats for use as spares\. o Two additional ushers seats with double arm rests o Non-organic fabric with stitched seat numbers, colour to be determined o Max backrest height 900mm o Seat back to seat back distance 1000mm o Nine pairs of seats to be quick release for use as wheelchair spaces\. See attached plan for locations\. o All seats in Row A and Row O should also be designed for easy removability\. NFT2 o Supply of 149 tip-up style cushioned cinema seats with cup holders arranged in staggered formation o Five additional seat backs, armrests and seats for use as spares\. o One additional ushers seat with double arm rests o Non-organic fabric with stitched seat numbers, colour to be determined\. o Max backrest height 900mm o Seat back to seat back distance 1000mm o Two pairs of seats to be quick release for use as wheelchair spaces\. See attached plan for locations\. o Apart from the back two rows \(17 seats\), NFT2 is ramped rather than tiered so seat bases should be adapted to accommodate the slope\.
