Description
The Winchester School of Art (WSA) Global Smart Lab was established to advance research at the interface of art and design with respect to smart technologies, experiences, and living. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a motion capture system that will serve as a key component of the Global Smart Lab. The Motion Capture system will allow us to focus on core challenges relating to the futures of motion tracking and motion capture technologies, inclusivity, data culture, and sustainability across the domains of product, service, game, and animation design, health, well-being, education, learning, and leisure. It will contribute to the University's Triple Helix model by promoting multidisciplinary collaborations and developing a research, education, and enterprise ecosystem.
