Work description
The Secure by Design team are looking for a Supplier to conduct a survey of UK consumers on various aspects of the draft labelling scheme proposals (for household internet-connected devices) which are currently being developed by DCMS. DCMS recommends that the Supplier uses an online survey for this work due to time constraints, however the minimum number of participants in the survey should be 2,000 people. DCMS would welcome the use of other mechanisms, such as interviews with consumers, however the Supplier should set out why they feel this would be a better approach and how many people they could interview during the contract period. The participants for the survey should be representative of the UK population, including age (16 and above), geography, ethnicity and gender. DCMS would welcome details from the Supplier on the steps they will take to ensure the survey is representative of the UK population.
