Tender for Three (3) Prefabricated Modular Bungalows, Wilby Close, Corby

In progressing its agenda to provide more homes for affordable rent within the borough, Corby Borough Council is looking to redevelop its underutilised residential garage areas, while also “piloting” the use of off-site construction techniques.

To this end the former garage area at Wilby Close has been identified as a site to provide 3no. new two-bedroom / three or four person prefabricated modular bungalows (see tender documentation for more details).

The Council now wishes to contract with a manufacturer, who specialises in this form of construction and who can fulfil the roles of Principal Designer & Contractor to provide a “turn-key” solution for the design, manufacture and installation of these dwellings by way of this Single-Stage Fixed Lump Sum Tender.
