Description

The Council is seeking to commission the construction of a SuDs scheme at Westfield Junior School. \r This is a Sustainable Drainage System scheme, looking to improve the drainage of the school and the surrounding area.\r An appropriate construction programme will be agreed in negotiation with the Council, and the school to accommodate school activities and holidays. To allow for this the contract will commence in January 2024. \r Provisional dates for construction are:\r Monday 12 February - Friday 22 March 2024 (incorporating February half term)\r Designs have already been completed and are appended to this document. \r \r There is a Site visit scheduled for 6th December 2023 @ 15:45.\r Attendance is optional and will have no bearings on the evaluation of the bidder's submission if they attend or do not.\r The site visit is solely informative, to allow bidders to understand the site layout and the access and egress within the site to help them in their submission.\r No questions will be answers during the site visit, bidders should address all questions through the ProContract message system (Etendering site for the Council) to raise any questions .\r \r If you are interested in attending please message through ProContract message system.\r \r Additional information: Site Visit 6th December 2023 @ 15:45 If interested in attending please message via ProContract Messaging system.
