BIS Research & Evaluation Framework - Lot 3 The overall objective of this research will be to provide evidence in relation to the following questions with regards to the UK historic investment in the area of Earth Observation; specifically, the EOEP4 programme; - Understand what impacts have occurred as a direct result of EOEP4 funding - Establish the extent to which UK EOEP4 funding has contributed to the growth of the UK Space sector - Establish how successful UK funded EOEP4 activities have been, and whether their overall objectives been achieved, and explore the added value that ESA as an organisation have bought to the programme. - As previously mentioned, the UK collaborates with other member states in EO-EP as the associated activities would not be affordable for the UK alone. This work should also bring out any impacts associated with this approach, such as economic or scientific/knowledge impacts.
