North East Derbyshire District Council \(NEDDC\) is developing a comprehensive and ambitious transformation strategy for one of its key towns, Clay Cross\. The vision for Clay Cross is to become a 21st century town, moving on from its industrial legacy whilst valuing and preserving its heritage, transformed into a centre for learning, research and climate change innovation\. NEDDC is a forward looking authority and is seeking a fresh and innovative approach to place-making and regeneration\. This will be reflected in any responses to this call for bids\.
