ISFE Programme Support to Implementation

Description

The ISFE2 programme is a GMPP and replaces a key piece of national infrastructure. After a red IPA review in February, NHSE brought in expertise and support to get the programme back on track, and the following IPA review in May was Amber. The IPA were clear that the additional support was essential and should be continued; this business case extends the support for 12 months at a maximum cost of £4.75m. Wherever possible NHS England will use alternative resource to reduce the cost, but if we were not able to do that then £4.75m would be the maximum value.
