Description
NEC is delivering SIP-based communications including voice gateway, enterprise-grade switching platform and resilient support components. The new SIP infrastructure will replace the legacy NEC ISDN components with the SIP infrastructure. The SIP hardware underpins the Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS), mission-critical platform used by NYFRS. This NEC setup is tailored to support 999 call handling, ensuring resilience, security, and compliance STA has been recommended based on the justification that this is the sole supplier due to continuity and compatibility with the existing system.
