Description
As per ICT Strategy, we are entering the next phase of Arun's transition to MS Azure; this will include migrating line of business applications. To ensure these systems do not suffer any loss in performance or service levels we are looking to install a MS Express Route. This solution gives you a dedicated connection into Azure instead of using our existing Internet Connection, this will increase bandwidth throughput, whilst providing a more consistent and secure network experience than internet-based connections. The solution will include 2 circuits towards MS Azure into the same Cloud PoP on diverse routes, we intend to start with a 200Mb connection with the ability to increase this up to 1Gb if required with no additional charges except the cost of the additional bandwidth. We will also be taking a managed router option as part of the solution to minimise our management of the complexities of the ExpressRoute configuration.
