## Description

The COAST Laboratory \(www\.plymouth\.ac\.uk/coast-laboratory\) is a state of the art research facility for the study of wave and current interaction with offshore and coastal structures using scaled physical modelling\. It consists of the 35 m x 15\.5 m x 3 m Ocean Basin, a 15 m x 10 m x 0\.5 m Coastal Basin, two 0\.6 m wide wave flumes and various smaller teaching facilities\. Since opening in 2012, it has been instrumental in the UK maintaining its world leading position in the ORE sector, playing a key role in testing novel ORE devices and platforms through UK and international collaborations\.
