## Description

The proposed 12-month programme will enable genotyping of blood groups by NHS BT in current patients \(up to 17,800 patients\) with either sickle cell or thalassemia\. Additional information: Direct Award justified under Reg 32 as lack of competition due to technical reasons\. NHSBT are the only organisation capable of delivering the scope of servcies
