22-205-E Thanet Beach Sand Movement 2023-2026

Thanet District Council is seeking to procure a specialist contractor to re-grade/re-level sand on beaches around the Thanet Coastline. This is a bi-annual event to take place in October/November (Autumn) to build a temporary sea defence (sand bund) and in March (Spring) to demolish/level temporary sea defence and prepare beaches for concessions to set up.

The Contract is anticipated to commence February 2023 for a duration of 3 years and 9 Months.

The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal tenders. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document.
