## Description

Thanet District Council is seeking to procure a specialist contractor to re-grade/re-level sand on beaches around the Thanet Coastline\. This is a bi-annual event to take place in October/November \(Autumn\) to build a temporary sea defence \(sand bund\) and in March \(Spring\) to demolish/level temporary sea defence and prepare beaches for concessions to set up\. The Contract is anticipated to commence February 2023 for a duration of 3 years and 9 Months\. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal tenders\. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document\. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14\.00hrs on 31 October 2022\. Completed tender documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14\.00hrs on 7 November 2022\.
