Description
Nottingham City Council (NCC) are seeking quotations for the supply of services in respect of purchase, wiping and secure disposal of redundant IT equipment for a 1 year + 1 + 1 period, the optional extensions will be entirely at the discretion of the council. Nottingham City Council (NCC) is seeking a suitably qualified purchaser of redundant IT equipment who will ensure compliance to strict government data removal standards and WEEE. At this time of shrinking budgets, we are seeking a fully managed end-to-end asset recovery service to help simplify the process of retiring equipment, whilst ensuring maximum residual value is recovered - whether through resale, reuse or recycling. The service must ensure we are complying with data protection, can demonstrable sustainability & corporate social responsibility along with environmental regulatory compliance. NCC including Nottingham City Homes (NCH) has an ICT estate of approximately 6000 PCs and laptops, 4000 Smart Phones, 500 Standard Mobile Phones and a variety of server, networks and peripheral devices as expected in a large diverse organisation. Each year we would expect to replace between 15 - 20% of these devices.
