Description
GLA ESF Homelessness and Ex-Offender Programmes The Greater London Authority (GLA) with funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) are intending to commission three contracts to support ex-offenders and homeless people within Greater London. There will be one project for ex-offenders (Pan-London) and two projects for Homelessness (two London sub-regions). The services will be for people who are unemployed or economically inactive, and are also an ex-offender or homeless person. The aim of the programme is to move individuals into 6-month sustained work. Elements include: Individual 1:1 support throughout the journey, including in-work support Skills training: vocational, digital skills and basic skills Work Preparation: including 100 hours' work placement Soft outcomes: measuring distance travelled for each participant The tenders for these programmes are due to be released on from the end of October. The contract will start in April 2020 and will end in July 2023, including all sustainment outcomes to be achieved by this date.
