Work description

The Rough Sleeping Initiative (RSI) is a central government programme aimed at helping people off the streets. Oldham Council has been awarded funded for 12 months from this fund, which it intends to use for the supply of a Rough Sleeping Navigator (RSN).

Quotations provided as part of this request should therefore be in the region of the funding amount awarded. The successful provider will need to ensure that the funding requirements of the RSI are met, which are:

• Demonstrating a clear reduction in rough sleeping numbers in Oldham. During 2020/21 the number of rough sleepers identified during the month has ranged between 6-15 individuals. The RSI funding requires a reduction in the numbers of both entrenched rough sleepers and those individuals who are most at risk of returning to rough sleeping and will be the focus of the RSN remit.
