## Description

Network security has proven challenging to manage on an on-going basis\. Vendor driven software upgrades and operability with legacy hardware have resulted in service impact and loss of availability following deployment of releases\. Coventry University therefore wishes to undertake a formal support engagement for the following items: 1\. To award a contract with a single supplier for the supply of firewall infrastructure within the Coventry University Group network environment\. 2\. To identify a strategic partner who can deliver an industry leading support mechanism for Network Security operating model with the Coventry University group for procurement, finance, digital services, and supportive lifecycle processes and a sustainable TCO model\. 3\. To Supply of all requirements in the Appendix B, Pricing Schedule, to Coventry University\. 4\. Integration with Azure Marketplace\. 5\. To award a 3-year contract with a \+1 \+1 option for extension\. This is a competitive procurement, conducted as a further competition against the JISC Network Equipment Framework, Lot 7 Palo Alto\. This Agreement has been awarded under the Public Contract Regulations 2015\.
