Orbit Group Asbestos Removal - PP949

The works required comprise undertaking asbestos removal and remedial works throughout all Orbit's Southern portfolio, although there is a potential further opportunity in the East and subject to performance this contract must allow for contingency supply in all of Orbit's properties nationally, including the Midlands and theEast of England. The Provider is required to provide small and large scale planned, reactive and emergency asbestos removal (24 hours a day) and remedial works. Disposal of any asbestos or suspected asbestos containing material that has been removed will be required. The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years (on a1+1 basis) based on acceptable performance. The contract will be JCT MTC 2016 with amendments. All documents are available to download from the portal at www.housingprocurement.com. Contract value is estimated to be up to £2.5m pa.
