## Description

The University of Sunderland seek to procure a Large format 3D printer utilising Fused Deposition Modelling \(FDM\)/Fused Filament Fabrication \(FFF\) process capable of printing part in a variety of materials that must include but not limited to PLA and PVA\. Additional materials such as TPU, Nylon and Polycarbonate would be an advantage\. o The print volume should measure at least 1\.0m x 1\.0m x 0\.5m and must be possible to be delivered through a doorway 118cm wide and 198cm high\. o Due to the size of the print bed an auto levelling system is essential\. o The bed must be heated to facilitate good bed adhesion and reduce warping during print runs\. o Network connection via Ethernet is essential\. o Must have two separate filament extruders\. Nozzles should be swappable and offer a variety of sizes up to at least 2mm\. As this printer will be used to print large objects, it is essential that the extruder has a high output capable of at least 30mm3/S\. o Minimum layer height should be 50 microns\. o Software for processing the CAD data into the suitable print file and for control of any associated processes must be supplied and included in the proposal\.
