Invitation to Tender for the provision of The Collection and Destruction of Confidential Waste

Herefordshire Council has reviewed its requirements for confidential waste services as its current contract will be expiring on 31st March 2023.

Herefordshire Council will require approximately 39 (32 x 240L, 2 x 360L and 5 consoles (smaller office based style unit)) bins across approximately 24 buildings to provide the ability to safely store confidential waste on-site. The council will require the on-site shredding and subsequent off-site secure destruction of confidential waste every four weeks for the duration of the three + one + one year contract.

The numbers outlined above are what is currently required, however due to flexible working, the number of buildings and therefore bins may fluctuate over the contract period.
