## Description

The requirement was to contract with an accredited Certification Body to provide initial ISO 9001 certification and surveillance activities to the whole of DE&S\. The Certification Body shall hold a suitable accreditation, with the right scope, from a National Accreditation Body \(NAB\) such as UKAS, who is a signatory to the International Accreditation Forum \(IAF\) or IAF Accredited Regional Multi-Lateral Agreements \(MLA\)\.
