Birley Energy Centre Works - AWARD

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking to appoint through a competitive tender process a suitably qualified and experienced provider of energy centre improvement works and district heating networks to improve operational issues experienced at the MMU, Birley Fields Energy Centre and heat network. ​

Works include but are not limited to; ​

- Upgrading and replace heating pipework, pumps, valves and controls​ - Installation of new heat metering within the Energy Centre ​ - Combined Heat and Power (CHP) recommissioning ​ - Building Management System controls modifications and recommissioning​

The contract will be let for an initial period of 12 months with the works completed by Summer 2021.​ The purpose of this tender process is to enable the University to select the provider of these services that demonstrates the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT). ​
