## Description

The Forestry Commission will be awarding a framework agreement for marking and tariffing of trees on Forest sites, as part of our ongoing harvesting operations, across the Sherwood South & North Beats, part of Central England Forest District\. It is essential that procedures and conventions outlined in Forest Mensuration, a handbook for practitioners, Forestry Commission \(2006\) are followed during the work on this contract\. This includes: 1\) Pre tariff: a\) Area survey, Top Height and Volume Plotting \(B6 plots\) b\) Survey stand features to allow net area calculation\. 2\) Marking and Tariffing a\) Thinning - A4/A5 Abbreviated Marking & Tariff b\) Clearfell - A4/A5 Abbreviated Marking & Tariff
