## Description

Worcestershire County Council \(WCC\) has a current term contract for delivering maintenance and the supply and installation of traffic signals\. A recent programme to investigate and find efficiencies across the highway network has identified route corridors and specific sites where improvements could be made to route journey times, efficiency of junctions for all modes, as well as maintaining free-flow and reducing congestion, through traffic signal control improvements\. In addition WCC are delivering a range of other infrastructure schemes which include traffic signal installation\. These additional demands for installation/improvements to traffic signals will exceed the financial limits of the current contract and therefore WCC now requires a contract for the supply and installation of traffic signals\. The successful supplier will need to work collaboratively with the existing traffic signals term maintenance contractor\.
