Description

The Community Wealth Building contract is working to achieve the following objective: Support small, medium enterprises (SME's) operating in Devon to become Local Authority Procurement Ready to enable them to bid for opportunities in the public sector and in turn support the local economy of the communities they work in. As a minimum starting point, the support to be provided will support SME's to navigate: - Contracts Finder (https://www.gov.uk/contracts-finder) - Department of Education Portal (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/live-tender-announcements) - Find a Tender Service (FTS) (https://www.gov.uk/find-tender) - Explore supply chain activities - Tender writing Do's and Don'ts - What is Social Value and how does it fit into public sector contracts and how Social value is demonstrated by an organisation outside of any public sector contract it is awarded.
