## Description

Developing forecasting and appraisal methods is one of the directorate's key priorities as set out in the its evidence and research strategy\. This project will support the development of a high quality evidence base on the wider economic impacts of transport schemes\. It also fits with TASM's theme of transformational investments and housing as part of the Analytical and Modelling Strategy being developed in 2018\.
