Replacement Fan Filter Units

The existing 47 fan filter units have exceeded their expected operating life. This presents a risk to all cleanroom operations as they could fail at any time. Tender 2086 was ran 19 months ago for Fan Filter units at which point Camfil were the most economically advantageous tender, however a contract was never issued for the filter units. Since then, a larger number of filter units have become at risk of failure which has resulted in a increased number of units required and higher value of contract.
