Newnham Junior School Toilet Refurbishment Works

Name: Newnham Junior School - Toilet Works Contract type - JCT Minor Works (As Amended) Project Address: Newnham Ave, Ruislip, Eastcote HA4 9RW

Proposed works are being constructed following the condition survey undertaken on the existing toilets. The works consists of a full internal refurbishment to the pupil & staff toilet facilities including but not limited to remodeling of the existing areas to incorporate DDA Accessible toilet accommodations. This comprises of the following elements. - Stripping out of existing fixtures, fittings, ceilings and floor finishes. - Removal of defective materials where necessary. - Removal of existing internal partition walls and the construction of new walls including plastering - to all new walls. - All necessary enabling works. - Forming of new opening as indicated. - Install structural supports as necessary. - Installation of new metal stud wall. - Installation of new internal door sets. - New and alteration works to drainage and plumbing. - Alteration works to existing mechanical and electrical systems. - Installation of new mechanical and electrical components. - Installation of new finishes throughout. - Installation of new cubicles. - Installation of new sanitary ware and associated plumbing components. - Full redecoration through project areas. - All other works identified within the schedule of works.

Planned date of commencement: 24/07/2023 Anticipated construction period: 6 weeks. Completion date: 01/09/23.

The proposed works must commence and completed in the summer holidays 2023 phased to avoid disruption to the school's day-to-day operation.

Due to the project works location within the school it is paramount that the proposed works must be completed and fully operational before the start of the new term to minimise the impact on the start of the new academic year.
