Work description
This tender is for the provision of development and support to the Co-operative Councils Innovation Network (CCIN). The contract period will be from 13th June 2016 ? 30 June 2018 (with the option of a year extension). Oldham Council is undertaking the development of a Consultancy Framework on behalf of the Network and will undertake contract oversight on this basis. The Co-operative Councils Innovation Network (CCIN) is a national network currently comprising of 22 local authorities who are committed to finding better ways of working for, and with, local people for the benefit of their local community. CCIN membership is from across the UK including local authorities from the following areas: Bassetlaw, Cardiff, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Islington, Knowsley, Lambeth, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Norwich, Oldham, Plymouth, Rochdale, Salford, Sandwell, Southampton, Stevenage, Sunderland, and Telford & Wrekin. We are looking for organisations who are able to: ?inspire and design innovative co-operative policy over a number of policy areas and themes, with a focus on delivering differently and redesign of public services in line with cooperative values and principles ?demonstrate the ability to build capacity and leave a legacy that continues to deliver outcomes even after the funding and supporting resources have moved out ?bring credibility and profile to the work of the CCIN reaching across a wide range of sectors and agencies
