Work description
This requirement is for a Real-Time Localisation System enabling tracking of 10 unique tools (hand-held) and 100 unique items (generic) within the workshop area of AMRC Cymru measuring 58 and 28 meters in length and width respectively as well as within a dedicated 4 by 4 meters room of wooden construction. This area is occupied by various machinery and occlusions that could interfere with transmitted signals and line of sight.
The solution should enable the tracking of individual items and tools within centimetre accuracy and detect the ID, position and orientation of the tracked items. The solution should have the capability to have read/write access to database systems for cross referencing tracked items with database values.
The system is to be installed at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre in Wales:
AMRC Cymru Chester Road Bretton CH4 0DH UK
