Call Off Thames Tideway Tunnel - Technical Advice

The Statement of Requirements/ITT sets out the work required to support Ofwat during the delivery of the Thames Tideway scheme including: the management of main construction Suppliers and the main works construction. The SoR scopes the provision of expert advice and analysis on the approach to design and specification, planning, cost estimation, risk appraisal and allocation and project management for the Thames Tideway scheme.

The work includes three key elements:

a. Engineering and Project Management b. Planning and Land c. Procurement and Financing d. Programme

Phase One In this phase we will require the Supplier to:

• Review construction and programme progress.

• Support Ofwat in its governance of all procurements to ensure value for money for customers.

• Support Ofwat in its governance of the acquisition and disposal of land rights.

• Compensation - support Ofwat in the review of compensation.

• Provide technical advice on any contracted issues arising between Tideway and Thames Water, and between Tideway and its supply chain.

• Provide monitoring and review of the effectiveness of incentives.
